Netflix has finally revealed the highly anticipated release date of “Stranger Things” Season 5, which will come out in three parts later this fall. The final episodes of the popular sci-fi series will premiere on November 26 with four new episodes as “Volume 1,” followed by three more episodes as “Volume 2” on Christmas Day.
The trailer for the fifth season was shown during Netflix’s Tudum 2025 live fan event, where the cast reminisced about their favorite memories from the show’s early days. The teaser takes viewers back to pivotal moments in the series, including the night Eleven was found and the gang’s battles against Vecna.
The final episodes will be released on December 31, 2025, with a one-week delay after Christmas Day. Season 5 begins with a time jump to the fall of 1987, where Will, Mike, Lucas, and the rest of the gang must find and kill Vecna while facing military quarantine and an intensified government hunt for Eleven.
The cast is returning for the final season, including Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, Priah Ferguson, Brett Gelman, and Jamie Campbell Bower. New faces in the show will include Nell Fisher, Jake Connelly, Alex Breaux, Linda Hamilton, and Amybeth McNulty.
