Tiffany Stratton successfully defended her WWE Women’s Title against Nia Jax, thanks in part to a timely intervention by WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus. The match saw Candice LeRae launch a vicious attack on Stratton post-match, resulting in a disqualification for Jax. However, before LeRae and Jax could cause further harm, Stratus appeared to save the day. With the titleholder still recovering, Royal Rumble winner Charlotte Flair emerged to declare that “Tiffy Time” is upon her.
Additionally, other notable SmackDown results included Damian Priest qualifying for the Elimination Chamber with a win over Braun Strowman and Jacob Fatu in a triple threat match. Naomi secured a spot inside the chamber after defeating Chelsea Green in a decisive match. LA Knight defeated The Miz to earn an opportunity against United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura, while Carmelo Hayes took down R-Truth with his signature “Nothing But Net” move.
The stage is set for WrestleMania as the road to the big event heats up. With Stratton’s title reign on the line and the Elimination Chamber match looming large, the stakes are higher than ever in the WWE women’s division.
