Subaru Unveils Limited STI Models for BRZ, WRX, and Forester

Subaru is finally giving its fans some high-performance love with the introduction of new STI models for three popular vehicles: the BRZ, WRX, and Forester. The STI badge is synonymous with rally-ready handling and crisp performance, but it seems Subaru has taken a different approach this time around.

The 2025 Subaru Forester STI model is based on the previous generation and comes equipped with an e-boxer mild hybrid system, which adds only 16 horsepower to the base model. The car features several styling upgrades, including STI-design side sills and a more aggressive front splitter, but no significant power boost.

The Subaru BRZ STI Edition boasts an impressive rear wing made from carbon fiber, while the WRX STI Package comes with cosmetic updates such as STI pink accents on new side skirt edges. However, unlike previous special editions, the WRX’s engine remains unchanged, and it won’t be available in North America.

Subaru has a history of releasing limited-edition models, but this time around, the focus seems to be more on aesthetics rather than performance enhancements. The company’s distributor in Singapore is likely behind this move, which may appeal to local customers but disappoints fans expecting significant upgrades.
