Suga Released From Military Service, Rejoins BTS as Group Set for 2025 Comeback

K-pop sensation BTS rapper and songwriter Suga has been discharged from South Korea’s mandatory military service, marking the official return of all seven members. The group’s representatives confirmed that Suga had completed his duties after using up his remaining leave.

Suga served as a social service agent due to a prior shoulder injury, unlike other members who fulfilled their duty in the army. Fans of BTS, known as BTS ARMY, will rejoice knowing they can soon reunite with their favorite stars.

Earlier discharges saw RM and V return from military duties last week, followed by Jimin and Jung Kook on Monday. Jin discharged in June 2024, while J-Hope was released in October. The law requires all able-bodied men aged 18 to 28 to perform 18-21 months of military service.

Suga expressed his gratitude to fans in a heartfelt letter, saying he missed them during his time away and was sorry for any disappointment or worry caused last year. He promised the group would repay their love with new music and performances, stating “I love you” to the ARMY.
