Reality TV star Paige DeSorbo has announced that she will not be returning to the popular Bravo show “Summer House” after seven seasons. In a heartfelt Instagram post, DeSorbo thanked her castmates, fans, and NBCU family for their support during her time on the show. She cited her growth as a person and the changing dynamics of the show as reasons for her departure.
DeSorbo first joined the show in Season 3 with best friend Hannah Berner but became a mainstay after Berner left. She went on to star in the spin-off show “Winter House” and launched her popular podcast “Giggly Squad” with Berner during the COVID-19 pandemic. The news of DeSorbo’s departure comes as Bravo fans have noticed she removed “Summer House” from her Instagram bio, following a month-long teaser on social media.
DeSorbo has hinted at her eventual departure from the show in previous interviews and announcements, citing the lifestyle of “Summer House” no longer fitting her original show idea. The 32-year-old fashion influencer will instead focus on new ventures, including a sleepwear line named after her cat Daphne, set to drop online on June 10.
