Suns Struggle Despite LeBron’s Absence

The Phoenix Suns suffered their 6th consecutive loss since February, falling behind the Dallas Mavericks by 1.5 games in the Western Conference Play-In Tournament race. The team is now 31-37 overall and 5th in the West.

Kevin Durant led the way for the Suns with 21 points and 9 rebounds, while Devin Booker chipped in with 19 points and 11 assists. However, Bradley Beal’s limited playing time due to left hamstring soreness weighed on the team’s performance.

The loss is a setback for a Suns team that has struggled of late. The team’s inability to compete against a LeBron-less Lakers team, which was coming off a four-game losing streak, raises questions about their overall health and chemistry.

LeBron James’ absence due to a groin strain is also a concern, as the Suns have proven themselves to be a remedy for struggling teams in recent weeks. However, despite being without their star forward, Phoenix could not muster enough resistance against Los Angeles, who moved to 41-25 on the season.
