The Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles will face off in Super Bowl LIX at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on Sunday, Feb. 9. The matchup is a rematch of the 2023 Super Bowl LVII, where the Chiefs won 38-35.
Oklahoma leads all FBS schools with seven active roster players, followed by Georgia with six. FCS and DII football have eight players combined between the two teams.
The Kansas City Chiefs’ active roster includes 10 players from Oklahoma, while the Philadelphia Eagles feature six players from Oklahoma as well. The breakdown of colleges represented on both rosters is extensive, with Alabama having four players, Florida and Michigan also contributing four each, and Clemson and Memphis sharing three players.
FCS schools Holy Cross, North Dakota State, Penn, South Dakota State, and Houston Christian are all represented in the game. DII schools include CSU Pueblo from the RMAC conference, Fayetteville State from the CIAA, and Missouri S&T from the GLVC.
Super Bowl LIX promises to be an exciting matchup between two strong teams, with a significant number of players from various colleges represented on the field.
