The Super Bowl has achieved its largest audience ever, with an average of 126 million viewers tuning in to watch the Philadelphia Eagles play against the Kansas City Chiefs on February 9. This marks a 2% increase from last year’s record-breaking audience of 123.7 million.
Viewership peaked during the second quarter of the game, with an average of 135.7 million viewers between 8 and 8:15 p.m. ET. The Super Bowl’s streaming audience also reached an all-time high, with 13.6 million viewers tuning in via Tubi and over 900,000 using NFL platforms.
The half-time show, featuring Kendrick Lamar as the headliner, was a major draw for the telecast. The performance included celebrity guests such as SZA, Samuel L. Jackson, Serena Williams, and Mustard. The Super Bowl also featured numerous celebrity-filled ads, including Muppets in a Booking.com ad, Ram Trucks with Glen Powell, and Google Pixel 9 on YouTube.
