Sussexes Respond to Controversial Vanity Fair Article

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have dismissed several contentious claims made about their post-royal life in California, according to sources close to the couple.

A recent Vanity Fair article examined the Sussexes’ lives and business ventures since leaving the Royal Family. The piece included claims that neighbours in Montecito believed the duke and duchess had disrupted the area’s tranquillity by bringing more attention to their wealthy enclave. However, this criticism came despite Montecito already being home to numerous celebrities.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been described as having a negative impact on the community, with some claiming they “bring more attention” to the area. This contradicts reports from other sources, including actress Sharon Stone, who stated that the couple is a part of their community and has become giving and caring residents.

The Vanity Fair article also claimed that Meghan’s podcast staff required long-term therapy or took extended breaks due to the strain of working with her. However, this claim has been disputed by previous employees who have spoken out against the article.

Furthermore, the piece mentioned potential future plans for the couple, including a possible book deal. However, sources close to the Sussexes denied these claims, stating that their love is real and they are not considering divorce.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex declined to be interviewed for the Vanity Fair piece, but GB News has contacted Prince Harry and Meghan’s office for comment.
