Sussexes Reveal Multi-Year Netflix Deal Extension

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Harry and Meghan, have announced an extension to their partnership with Netflix for films and TV shows. The new deal, described as a “multi-year, first look” arrangement, will give Netflix a priority over proposals from the couple’s production company, Archewell.

Meghan expressed her enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating that it aims to create content “that resonates globally” and celebrates their shared vision. However, details on the deal’s duration and financial terms are still unknown.

The partnership comes ahead of the second series of their cookery show, With Love, Meghan, which is set to air later this month. Although audience figures for the first series were modest, with 5.3 million views, it remains unclear how much the deal was worth.

In other news, Archewell has announced a Christmas special edition of With Love, Meghan, and a new Netflix show titled Masaka Kids, A Rhythm Within, which is set to air later this year.

Netflix chief content officer Bela Bajaria praised Harry and Meghan’s influence, noting that their work has quickly become one of the platform’s most-watched documentary series.
