Syria’s New Rulers Pledge Justice, Jobs, and Security in “New Era”

Syria’s new interim government has pledged to establish a fair justice system, create jobs, and prioritize security as part of their mission to usher in a “new era” for the country.

According to Obaid Arnaut, spokesperson for the interim government, re-establishing trust in the rule of law and judicial system is key to healing the deep wounds inflicted on Syrian society. Special tribunals will be established to hold accountable those who have committed crimes against Syrians during the Assad regime.

The government also aims to reform state institutions tainted with corruption and dismiss employees who have harmed the population. However, loyal and dedicated public servants will be prioritized for retention.

Job vacancies will be open to all, and the new government seeks to unite efforts to build the country. Infrastructure and economic rebuilding are also top priorities.

Security is a key focus area for the new government, with sanctions lifted to allow Syrians to live as they dream. The increase in salaries of public servants by up to 400 percent has been announced, aiming to quell widespread anger over the economic situation.

The new government’s approach to handling security, including the Israeli attacks on Syria, will be outlined in the near future. For now, preserving properties and ensuring the country is safe from external threats remains the primary goal.
