A 20-year-old American-Palestinian man from Tampa, Sayfollah Musallet, has been killed by a mob of Israeli settlers in the West Bank. Musallet was visiting his relatives on July 4 and was beaten for over three hours before being denied life-saving aid by paramedics. His family released a statement, describing him as a kind, hardworking, and deeply respected member of their community.
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has not provided information on what led up to the confrontation. Musallet died before reaching the hospital. The US State Department is being demanded to investigate the incident.
