The Tarrant County Hospital District is seeking permission to vacate parts of three streets in Fort Worth to make way for future hospital development. The City Plan Commission approved the request unanimously on October 15, 2025. The area in question is bounded by railroad tracks, Main Street, and Allen Avenue. The district plans to bring forward a “green plat” for new hospital construction.
