Taylor Swift, Caitlin Clark Cheer on Travis Kelce’s Chiefs

Taylor Swift and WNBA rookie sensation Caitlin Clark attended a Kansas City Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday. The pop star invited her fellow sports enthusiast to cheer on Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, as the Chiefs defeated the Houston Texans 23-14 in the divisional round of the playoffs.

The two were spotted in their suite, chatting and hugging after Kelce caught a touchdown in the fourth quarter. Clark has been an avid Chiefs fan since childhood, despite initial criticism that she’s a “bandwagon” supporter. In fact, Clark revealed on Jason and Travis Kelce’s podcast, New Heights, that her dad was already a huge Chiefs fan when Patrick Mahomes joined the team.

Swift and Clark also share their love for Taylor Swift’s music, as revealed in Clark’s Athlete of the Year profile for Time. After attending two Eras Tour concerts at Lucas Oil Stadium, Swift gifted Clark several merchandise bags with a personal note expressing how “inspiring” she finds Clark. The invitation to join Swift at a Chiefs game was just the beginning of their sports-and-music bond.

With the win, the Chiefs advance to the AFC Championship Game for the seventh straight season, solidifying their position as a dominant force in the league.
