Taylor Swift may not have attended a Kansas City Chiefs home game this season, but she still found a way to show her support for boyfriend Travis Kelce’s historic touchdown catch. With just under 13 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, Kelce caught his 77th touchdown pass, surpassing Tony Gonzalez for the most in franchise history.
Kelce completed eight receptions on 11 attempts for 84 yards in the team’s 29-10 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. The win marked the Chiefs’ 15-1 record and number one seed in the AFC playoff field, with Kelce now becoming the all-time leader in receptions, receiving yards, and touchdowns.
Swift congratulated Kelce on his dominant performance on social media, liking three posts from the Chiefs, NFL, and ‘New Heights’ teams after the game. Despite not attending a Chiefs home game this season, Swift still showed her support for Kelce’s historic achievement. The tight end, known for his impressive skills on the field, has now amassed 1,004 catches and 12,151 yards in his career.
Kelce will look to win his fourth Lombardi Trophy in the playoffs, hosting the Denver Broncos in their final game of the season on January 5.
