Amos Heller, Taylor Swift’s longtime bass player, has shared a heartfelt message on Instagram as he says goodbye to the Eras Tour. The 47-year-old musician has been with Swift for over 15 years and reflected on his time on the road with her. He expressed relief at being able to leave behind the exhaustion of touring, including early morning calls, airports, and jet lag.
Heller shared memories from various cities, including visiting bass shops in Australia and getting tattoos in Ireland. He also praised Swift’s dedication to her craft, saying she “commands so much respect and admiration” from everyone involved in her tours.
The Eras Tour was a massive success, selling over $2 billion in tickets and breaking records. The tour also inspired the publication of Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour Book, which sold 814,000 copies in its first two days.
Swift’s team has been generous with bonuses, giving out $197 million to everyone working on the tour during its nearly two-year run. The pop star is now looking forward to her upcoming Grammy Awards nominations, including album of the year.
