Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department Reigns at Billboard 200

Taylor Swift’s album “The Tortured Poets Department” has topped the Billboard 200 chart, marking its 16th nonconsecutive week at No. 1. This success comes after Target released a physical edition of the album, which scored over 405,000 equivalent album units in its first week.

The album’s return to the top spot was boosted by Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour, which concluded on Sunday at BC Place in Vancouver after nearly two years. The tour has spanned five continents and 149 shows, with fans praising Swift for her dedication to the “most thrilling chapter of my life.”

Swift thanked her fans for their support during the final performance, stating that their memories will last a lifetime. The success of the album and the tour also led to significant book sales, with Swift’s “The Eras Tour Book” selling nearly 1 million copies in its first week.

Target executive Rick Gomez praised the partnership with Swift, saying it was an “absolute thrill” to see the record-breaking response. The collaboration has made this year’s Black Friday and Cyber Week unforgettable for many fans.
