TCL Brings Affordable Spatial Audio to TVs and Speakers this Summer

TCL is set to launch a new feature that makes it easier for users to create a spatial audio setup, called Dolby Atmos FlexConnect. This feature will be available on select QD-Mini LED TVs in its 2025 Precise Dimming Series, including the QM8K, QM7K, and QM6K models.

Starting this summer, TCL TVs and its new Z100 smart speaker will support Dolby Atmos FlexConnect. This feature allows users to connect their TV with external speakers that can be placed anywhere in a room, providing Atmos-enabled audio without the need for a traditional surround-sound system.

The concept is similar to other wireless Dolby Atmos products, but TCL claims it should be more affordable. The Z100 speaker comes in three finishes – gray, teal, and beige – making it easier to coordinate with home decor.

US pricing has not been confirmed yet, but up to four Z100 speakers can be connected to supporting FlexConnect TVs starting this summer.
