TCL has kicked off Mobile World Congress 2025 by unveiling its new 60 series smartphones featuring the innovative NXTPAPER display tech. The feature mimics the look and feel of paper, reducing eye-strain and improving viewing experiences.
The TCL 50 XE NXTPAPER 5G is a budget-friendly option available in North America, starting at CA$325 in Canada and $200 in the US later this year. It boasts an 6.8-inch screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a triple-camera setup, and up to seven days of battery life.
TCL’s new tablet, the NXTPAPER 11 Plus, will be available globally for €250. The 11.5-inch device features the same display tech, alongside an 8,000mAh battery and 256GB storage.
The TCL 60 series brings much-needed competition to the North American budget smartphone market, rivaling brands like Motorola, Samsung, and Nothing with its affordable and feature-packed devices.
