TCU WR Jack Bech Wins Senior Bowl MVP

TCU wide receiver Jack Bech won the MVP award at the Senior Bowl on Saturday, catching a game-winning touchdown pass in the final quarter of the American Team’s 22-19 victory over the National Team.

Bech’s achievement comes a month after his brother, Tiger, died in a pickup truck attack in New Orleans. The TCU receiver wore his brother’s jersey number, 7, during the game and credited him for his performance.

Bech had an impressive season with TCU, catching 62 passes for 1,034 yards and nine touchdowns. He used the Senior Bowl as an opportunity to showcase his skills ahead of the NFL draft in April.

The 22-year-old received praise from the team’s coaches after the game, but Bech’s thoughts were focused on his late brother, who he said had given him the “wings” to perform well.
