AppleTV+ announced the return of Emmy-winning comedy “Ted Lasso” with Season 4, starring Jason Sudeikis as the titular character. The news comes nearly two years after the Season 3 finale, leaving fans eagerly awaiting a resolution.
Sudeikis will reprise his role as coach Ted Lasso, and executive producers Brendan Hunt and Brett Goldstein will also return. While the full cast roster has not been announced, several beloved characters from previous seasons are expected to make a comeback.
In a recent interview with Jason and Travis Kelce on the New Heights podcast, Sudeikis hinted at an upcoming plot point: his character will coach a women’s team. The show’s optimistic tone and sentimental approach have made it a hit since its debut in 2020, earning 13 Emmy awards, including outstanding comedy series and lead actor for Sudeikis.
A release date for Season 4 has yet to be announced, but fans can expect more of Ted Lasso’s feel-good humor and heart.
