Base-building RTS game Tempest Rising has been released on Steam a week earlier than intended, with the publisher deciding not to alter the new release date instead of rescinding access for standard edition owners who got early access by mistake. The developer is now working on exclusive in-game content for Deluxe Edition owners to compensate for lost bragging rights. Despite the minor game launch accident, Tempest Rising has received a positive user rating and is available for anyone to play.
