The undefeated Tennessee men’s basketball team, now ranked No. 3 in the AP poll, is set to debut its new “Dark Mode” uniforms against Syracuse Orange this Tuesday. The unique jerseys mark a departure from the team’s previous designs and are inspired by their football team’s dark mode look.
Head coach Rick Barnes had previously announced plans for a black uniform, which will be worn during the game against Syracuse. To build anticipation, the team released a promotional video featuring camera shots of players in action while surrounded by smoke and eerie music.
The Dark Mode uniforms will make their debut in Tennessee’s matchup against Syracuse on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN in Knoxville.
