A series of fires were set at a Tesla center in southern Las Vegas, authorities confirmed. The incident, which occurred early Wednesday morning, was described as an intentional attack. Assistant Sheriff Dori Koren stated that the suspect used at least one gun and multiple Molotov cocktails.
According to Koren, the suspect approached the business wearing all black and damaged five vehicles, with two of them engulfed in flames. At least three rounds were fired into different Tesla vehicles. Authorities believe this was a targeted attack against the facility and consider it an isolated incident.
Special Agent Spencer Evans from the FBI described the incident as a federal crime and vowed to find and prosecute the suspect. Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, condemned the violence on social media, stating that such attacks are “insane and deeply wrong.”
