Tesla Cybertruck Faces Major Recall and Damage to Brand Reputation

Tesla has recalled all 46,100 Cybertruck pickups worldwide due to design flaws, including panels coming loose on the road. The US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) raised concerns about the glue used to hold exterior sheet metal, which can become brittle in cold conditions, causing a major accident risk.

The recall is not the first for Tesla’s struggling electric pickup truck, which has faced criticism over its design, performance, and safety. The company had previously resorted to desperate sales tactics, including offering incentives and pitching on the White House lawn.
