A fire broke out at a shopping complex in Littleton, Massachusetts, early Monday morning, with seven Tesla electric vehicle (EV) chargers suffering heavy damage. Investigators believe the incident was intentionally set and are actively investigating.
Crews arrived on scene just after 1 a.m., but had to wait for utility workers to disconnect power to the chargers before extinguishing the fire. The Littleton Fire Department’s chief, Steele McCurdy, described the scene as “unfortunate” and “scary” due to the potential risks of damaged electrical equipment.
The Arson Watch Reward Program Hotline has been established for anyone with information about the incident. Authorities are urging witnesses or those with knowledge about the fire to come forward and provide details. The investigation is ongoing, but initial findings suggest the fires were intentionally set.
