Tesla Owners Flock Out as Sales Decline Amid Controversy

The number of Tesla owners trading in their cars for a new vehicle has reached a record high, according to data from U.S. car shopping website Edmunds. As of March 16, 1.4% of all vehicles traded in were from Tesla models year 2017 or newer. This represents a significant increase from last year’s figure, which was 0.4%. The rise marks a steady trend since January, when 0.8% of traded-in vehicles were Teslas and February saw 1.2%.
