Tesla Recalls Over 700,000 Vehicles Due to Tire Pressure Warning Issue

Tesla is recalling nearly 700,000 vehicles in the US due to a issue with its tire pressure warning system. The problem can cause drivers to unknowingly drive on under-inflated tires.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the issue may lead to the TPMS warning light not staying illuminated between driving cycles. Tesla has released a free software update to fix the problem, and owners of affected vehicles will receive letters by February 15.

The recall affects specific models, including the 2024 Cybertruck, 2017-2025 Model 3s, and 2020-2025 Model Ys. This is not the first recall for Tesla’s Cybertruck, which has been plagued with issues throughout the year.
