Bethesda has finally revealed the remastered version of its beloved open-world fantasy role-playing game, The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion. Developed by Virtuos using Unreal Engine 5, the game boasts stunning new visuals and refined gameplay.
The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered features improved leveling systems, character creation, combat animations, and in-game menus. New dialogue, a proper third-person view, and lip sync technology have also been added. The game runs at 4K resolution and 60 frames per second.
Oblivion was originally released in 2006 as a follow-up to Morrowind and has since become a fan favorite. The game’s story revolves around the player character’s bid to defeat a cult that wants to open portals to the demonic realm known as Oblivion.
The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered is now available on PC, Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, priced at $49.99. A Deluxe Edition, featuring unique digital armor sets, an artbook, and soundtrack app, is also available for $79.99.
