Amazon Prime Video is set to release the third and final season of the popular coming-of-age romantic series “The Summer I Turned Pretty” on July 16. The show, based on bestselling author Jenny Han’s book trilogy, follows Belly (Lola Tung) as she navigates her love life between brothers Conrad (Christopher Briney) and Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno).
Season 3 marks the final installment of the series, with the first two episodes available to stream on premiere day. The remaining episodes will drop weekly on Wednesdays at 12:00 a.m. PT/3 a.m. ET through September 17.
Belly’s journey is expected to take a dramatic turn as she faces core-shaking events that bring her back to Conrad, forcing her to make an impossible decision between the two brothers. The new season also explores character arcs for Taylor and Steven.
“The Summer I Turned Pretty” Season 3 will be available on Amazon Prime Video, requiring an Amazon Prime membership starting at $14.99 a month or $139 a year. While author Jenny Han has not ruled out revisiting these characters in the future, she acknowledges that this third season marks the end of the show’s story.
