The Swordsman Returns to MCU in ‘Daredevil: Born Again’

Tony Dalton, known for his role as Jack Duquesne/the Swordsman, will reprise his part in the Disney+ series “Daredevil: Born Again.” This comeback follows rumors of Dalton’s possible return to the Marvel fold in “Born Again,” which brings back several popular characters from Netflix’s “Daredevil” and “The Punisher.” The swordsman first appeared in “Hawkeye” alongside Hailee Steinfeld and Vera Farmiga. His character was initially framed for a crime, leading fans to wonder if he would become villainous.

However, it was revealed that his mother-in-law Eleanor Bishop was the mastermind behind the plot. With Vincent D’Onofrio’s return as Kingpin in “Daredevil: Born Again,” Dalton’s inclusion makes sense. The series will also bring back Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, and Wilson Bethel as Bullseye from the Netflix seasons.

Dalton is set to star alongside Jon Bernthal in “Daredevil: Born Again.” His recent roles include Lalo Salamanca in “Better Call Saul” and the action thriller “Trap House,” co-starring Dave Bautista and Bobby Cannavale.
