The Voice Crowns New Season 26 Champion

The Voice has named its new champion, Sofronio Vasquez, in a dramatic finale that left the audience and contestants alike overcome with emotion. The Filipino singer was crowned the winner of Season 26 after weeks of competition, including Blind Auditions, Battles, Knockouts, Playoffs, and live shows.

Vasquez received $100,000, a recording contract, and a shiny new trophy as part of the grand prize, making him the first Asian artist to win the show. His coach, Michael Bublé, praised Vasquez for representing “the hope of so many people” and said he had represented Asians everywhere well.

The season finale featured memorable duets between coaches and their finalists, including performances by Gwen Stefani and Sydney Sterlace on “Wild World” and Snoop Dogg and Jeremy Beloate on “(Sittin’ on) The Dock of the Bay”. Bublé also performed with Shye on “Somethin’ Stupid”, while Reba McEntire sang with Danny Joseph on “You Don’t Know Me”.

The show ended with a star-studded performance lineup, including Dan + Shay, Myles Smith, and Kelly Clarkson. The Voice takes a two-month break before launching Season 27 in February, with Adam Levine set to return as the new coach alongside Bublé, John Legend, and Kelsea Ballerini.
