The Weeknd has unveiled the first official trailer for his upcoming film “Hurry Up Tomorrow”, set to release in theaters on May 16. The psychological thriller film stars The Weeknd alongside Jenna Ortega and Barry Keoghan.
In the two-minute trailer, fans get a glimpse into the film’s unraveling narrative, featuring clips of an unnerved Tesfaye, who is pulled into an odyssey with a stranger. Footage alternates between Tesfaye performing on-stage and partying recklessly, as well as moments of self-doubt and emotional turmoil.
The trailer also introduces Ortega as what appears to be his love interest, while Keoghan delivers words of encouragement to Tesfaye, telling him “stop self-doubting. you’re fucking invincible”. The film’s official synopsis reads: “A musician plagued by insomnia is pulled into an odyssey with a stranger who begins to unravel the very core of his existence”.
