A third man has been arrested in connection with a series of fires targeting properties linked to U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer. The 34-year-old suspect was taken into custody in Chelsea, west London, on suspicion of conspiracy to commit arson with intent to endanger life. This is the latest development in the investigation into the three nights of fires that occurred in north London between May 8 and May 12. No injuries were reported from the incidents.
Roman Lavrynovych, a Ukrainian national, was arrested last week for setting fire to Starmer’s personal home, as well as a property where he once lived and a small SUV he had sold. The 21-year-old denies any involvement in the fires. A second suspect’s nationality remains unknown.
The investigation into the arson attacks is ongoing, with no explanation given by authorities on the motives behind the crimes. Starmer and his family moved into Downing Street after being elected as Prime Minister in July.
