Three Buses Explode in Tel Aviv in Suspected Terror Attack

A suspected terror attack has struck three buses parked in Bat Yam, a city on the southern edge of Tel Aviv, Israel. The incident occurred on Thursday night with no casualties reported. Two other buses showed similar explosive devices but failed to detonate.

Police believe the devices were similar to those found in the West Bank, where Israel has been carrying out raids against militants. A message on one of the unexploded mechanisms referred to “Revenge from Tulkarm,” a reference to a recent Israeli military raid on a refugee camp.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered an intensive operation against terrorism centers in the West Bank. The Palestinian militant group Tulkarm Brigade released a statement claiming revenge for the martyrs, but did not claim responsibility for the attack.
