Three US Soldiers Missing in Lithuania Found Dead, Search Continues

The bodies of three US soldiers have been recovered from a peat bog in Lithuania after a six-day search operation. The fourth soldier is still missing. The US Army said the soldiers were part of a tactical training exercise when they went missing on an expansive ground in eastern PabradÄ—, near the border with Belarus.

The search effort involved over 1,000 troops from the US, Poland, and Lithuania, along with heavy equipment and technical experts. Lithuanian authorities provided military helicopters and other support to aid the recovery of the M88 Hercules armoured vehicle.

Three US soldiers were found dead after a massive dig-out operation was conducted by search and rescue teams using heavy equipment and excavators. The incident is under investigation by the US Army and Lithuanian authorities, who are working to determine what caused the incident.

The fourth soldier remains missing, and the US Navy is continuing to search the area using radar for any signs of the soldier.
