Tiger Woods, Son Charlie Win Thrilling PNC Championship

Tiger Woods and his 15-year-old son, Charlie, finished second in the PNC Championship, a 36-hole scramble golf tournament. The team lost to Bernhard Langer and his son Jason on the first extra hole at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club.

Despite not winning, Tiger considers the experience special because it was their first opportunity to compete together. They traded birdies and eagles throughout the round and had a thrilling moment when Charlie made his first ace on the 4th hole. The team played well, earning 26 birdies, two eagles, and a hole-in-one.

The PNC Championship is a family-focused event that Tiger has embraced, even as his competitive days appear to be fading. He views the tournament’s outcome as secondary to the bonding experience with Charlie. Tiger expressed optimism about his son’s golfing future, saying they will continue to train and progress together.

Team Woods’ performance was a positive step forward for Tiger, who had limited playing time due to injury this year. The father-son duo is expected to return next year and look to have another successful outing at the Ritz-Carlton course.
