TikTok star Anna Grace Phelan has died of brain cancer at the age of 19. Her family announced her death on Saturday, confirming it via a message on her social media page.
Phelan, who was diagnosed with glioblastoma, a highly aggressive and incurable form of brain cancer, had been documenting her battle with the disease on TikTok since September. She revealed that she initially experienced numbness in her face and leg, followed by vision problems, balance issues, and speech difficulties.
Despite undergoing a biopsy and receiving treatment, Phelan’s tumor continued to grow, making it difficult for her to breathe. Her final video, posted May 14, expressed her gratitude for the prayers and support she had received from her fans.
A GoFundMe page was set up after her diagnosis, raising over $65,000 to help cover medical expenses. Phelan’s funeral service will be held on Thursday at Galilee Christian Church in Jackson County, Georgia, with a burial following at the same cemetery.
Phelan is survived by her parents, brother, and numerous family members. Her faith and resilience have inspired thousands of people who followed her journey on TikTok.
