Tim Burton’s Oxfordshire Summer House Listed for £4.5 Million

Director Tim Burton is selling his 18th-century summer house in Sutton Courtenay, England, for £4.5 million (US$5.98 million). The Grade II-listed property, known as the “Mill House,” was once the foreman’s residence of a paper mill factory and features stunning riverfront views, gardens, and three islands. Purchased by Burton in 2006 with then-girlfriend Helena Bonham Carter for £2.9 million, the house has been renovated to include beautifully proportioned rooms, including a library that overlooks the courtyard. The property boasts an enchanting landscape, complete with lilypads, wisteria, and virginia trees.
