Timberwolves’ Late Surge Hands Rockets Tough 113-112 Loss

Anthony Edwards led the Minnesota Timberwolves to a comeback victory over the Houston Rockets, scoring the winning 3-pointer with 23 seconds left. The Timberwolves trailed by as many as 12 points but staged a furious rally, capped off by Edwards’ clutch shot. The win marks the second straight for Minnesota after losing three in a row.

The Rockets, led by Alperen Sengun’s season-high 38 points, had their four-game winning streak snapped. Fred VanVleet’s late-game 3-point attempt came up short, allowing the Timberwolves to secure the 113-112 win. Edwards added 24 points for Minnesota, while Julius Randle scored 27 in the loss. The Timberwolves will host San Antonio on Sunday night, while the Rockets head to Miami to face off against their Western Conference rival.
