Tennessee Titans head coach Brian Callahan acknowledged that his first season as head coach was embarrassing, finishing with a 3-14 record. However, he insists that he is capable of leading the team to success.
Callahan emphasized that the current situation motivates him to improve and prove himself as a head coach. “I know I’m a good football coach, and I know I’ll be a good head coach,” he said. “But this isn’t the result I anticipated.”
The Titans’ poor performance earned them the first overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft, which is now the focus of the offseason. Despite this, Callahan believes that his team has more to work on than just one draft pick.
“I’m determined not to be in this situation again,” he stated. “We need to get to a point where we can talk about how many games we’ve won, not how many we’ve lost.”
