The birdman is back, and he’s better than ever. The next-gen remake of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 is coming to PS5 and PS4 on July 11, marking the return of the legendary skateboarding series to consoles where it all began. This time around, players can expect a mix of classic and new content, including rebuilt original parks, new skaters, tricks, music, and enhanced creation tools.
The game features two challenge-filled tours in Career mode, as well as high scores in Single Sessions and Speedruns. Players can also explore each park in Free Skate, either solo or with friends online. Cross-platform multiplayer supports up to eight players at a time, allowing for head-to-head competition or cooperative gameplay.
Classic parks have been remade in 4K resolution, along with some new ones, while the game’s smooth handling and simple controls make it easy to learn and master. A New Game+ mode allows players to retain their stat growth from previous playthroughs, providing an added layer of challenge and replayability.
The game also introduces a new Waterpark map, set in an abandoned theme park in the Mojave Desert. Players can test their grind balance and vert abilities on the way down, with the option to customize their skater’s appearance and unlock new gear.
Preorders are now available for the Digital Deluxe Edition, which includes early access to the game, plus exclusive in-game extras such as extra skaters, tracks, and skate decks. The Collector’s Edition is a limited-edition release that comes with a physical copy of the game and a unique collectible item.
