Top 100 Prospects Take Part in Spring Breakout Games

Major League teams are gearing up for the upcoming baseball season, and a group of top prospects will be putting their skills on display at the Spring Breakout games. A total of 67 players from Baseball America’s Top 100 Prospects list will participate, including five of the top 10.

Several teams have notable representation, with the Mariners and Rays leading the way with six Top 100 prospects each. The Red Sox, Tigers, White Sox, and Guardians also have four prospects each playing in the games.

The Dodgers’ No. 1 prospect Roki Sasaki is preparing to help lead their pitching staff, while other top teams like the Brewers, Phillies, and Rockies have three prospects set to play. Notable players such as Colt Emerson (16th-ranked) and Carson Williams (11th-ranked) will be competing in the games.

The Spring Breakout series provides an opportunity for these young players to gain experience and showcase their skills in front of baseball executives and scouts.
