Tour de France 2025 Stage 10 Preview: Mountain Challenge Ahead

The Tour de France 2025 is set to enter its mountain phase with Stage 10, a grueling 165.3-kilometer ride from Ennezat to Le Mont-Dore. Eight categorized climbs, including one Category 3 climb, will test the riders’ endurance and climbing skills. The stage’s relentless trajectory could see some riders drop out of contention, while others gain significant time.

Defending champion Tadej Pogacar holds a narrow lead over Remco Evenepoel (54 seconds) and Kevin Vauquelin (1 minute, 11 seconds). Tim Merlier edged Jonathan Milan in a sprint finish in Stage 9, but the yellow jersey remains with Pogacar.

Riders will face significant elevation gain on this stage, including a 3.5-kilometer climb to Le Mont-Dore with an average gradient of 8%. The first three finishers will receive bonus seconds, adding an extra layer of strategy to the stage.

For Canadian viewers, FloBikes coverage will begin at 7 a.m. Eastern and conclude around 12:05 p.m. EDT. In the United States, NBC family networks will air the stage daily, while others may appear on local affiliates or the USA Network.

As the Tour de France enters its mountain phase, only time will tell who will emerge as the leader. Stay tuned for updates on Stage 10 and the rest of the 2025 edition.
