Comedian Tracy Morgan has recovered from food poisoning that forced him to leave the court during Monday’s Heat-Knicks game at Madison Square Garden. The 56-year-old actor, a longtime Knicks fan, posted an update on Instagram, thanking fans for their concern and joking about his good luck with the team’s 116-95 win.
Morgan had vomited in the second half of the game, interrupting play for over 10 minutes as workers cleaned up around his seat. Despite the health issue, he expressed gratitude to the Knicks’ staff and crew who took care of him.
The incident occurred during Morgan’s appearance at Monday night’s “Heat-Knicks” game, which was part of a special event featuring Saturday Night Live (SNL) 50th anniversary celebrations. This is not Morgan’s first health challenge; he has previously undergone a kidney transplant in 2010 and suffered a traumatic brain injury from a tractor trailer accident in 2014.
