Severance star Tramell Tillman brought the show’s “Choreography & Merriment” department to life in a surprise performance at Apple TV+ series PaleyFest 2025. The event, held just hours after the season 2 finale premiered, featured Tillman leading members of the University of Southern California marching band in a choreographed routine that mirrored Mr. Milchick’s dance sequence from this week’s episode.
The performance closely echoed a similar scene from the show’s first season, where Seth Milchick (Tillman) leads a Music Dance Experience to reward Helly R. (Britt Lower). Lower praised Tillman and the marching band for their performance, saying “Tramell is a genius” and highlighting the surreal juxtaposition of the corporate world with the fully established band.
The PaleyFest event came after Tillman’s absence was explained by director Ben Stiller, who said the actor sometimes “goes off the grid.” News of Severance’s renewal for a third season arrived shortly after season 2 concluded, and creator Dan Erickson reassured fans that new episodes won’t take as long to arrive as they did between the show’s first two seasons.
