Trump Cabinet Members Reveal Millions in Bitcoin Investments

Six out of 22 Trump cabinet members hold significant Bitcoin investments worth millions, according to their latest financial disclosures. The total value of these holdings is substantial, with at least half a dozen members owning Bitcoin assets or indirect investments through exchange-traded funds.

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. disclosed owning a Bitcoin account worth between $1 million to $5 million. Office of Management and Budget Director Russell Vought holds around $1,001 to $15,000 in his personal Coinbase wallet.

Other notable disclosures include Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent’s stake in an iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF worth $250,001 to $500,000, which he vows to divest by 90 days. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard reportedly has a Bitwise Bitcoin ETF Trust worth $15,001 to $50,000 and also directly holds around $15,001 to $50,000 worth of Bitcoin.

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy’s holdings include funds ranging from $250,001 to $500,000 in Bitcoin. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth revealed holding funds between $15,001 and $50,000 in Bitcoin.

It is worth noting that these disclosures come as President Trump claims to have made America the “Bitcoin superpower of the world.” However, Bitcoin’s value has fluctuated significantly over the past week, with a 9% decline.
