US President Donald Trump has stated that Taiwan took semiconductor chip business away from the US and wants it back. This comes after a Taiwanese semiconductor manufacturer, TSMC, held its first board meeting in the country on Wednesday. Analysts believe that TSMC may plan to increase its chip production in the US or build another foundry there.
