Former Nikola CEO Trevor Milton, convicted of defrauding investors in the electric truck maker, has received a pardon from President Trump. Milton was sentenced to four years in prison and fined $1 million after being found guilty of securities and wire fraud. The pardon spares him time in prison and waives his obligation to compensate shareholders who lost tens of millions of dollars following Nikola’s share price collapse.
