US President Donald Trump left the Super Bowl early after predicting a victory for the Kansas City Chiefs, which ultimately lost to the Philadelphia Eagles 40-22. The president was seen departing the Caesars Superdome more than an hour before the game ended.
Trump had previously praised quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany on social media, saying he would back the Chiefs due to her support for him as a “MAGA fan”. However, despite his pre-game prediction, Trump did not show similar courtesy to Eagles players. In fact, he expressed dislike towards Taylor Swift, who publicly endorsed his rival Kamala Harris for president.
This is not the first time a US President has attended the Super Bowl. Trump became the first sitting US president to do so and had initially predicted a Chiefs win. However, his prediction proved incorrect, with the Eagles emerging victorious.
